About this course

Our filmmaking capsule course has been curated so that it is the perfect introduction to the world of cinema. The curriculum is an overview of the key aspects of the filmmaking process, starting from the fundamentals of screenwriting and pre-production, to understanding cinematography, direction, and post-production techniques including editing.

At the end of the capsule, students can expect to have a short film on their portfolio, the ability to think like a director, and a clearer idea about their future as filmmakers.

There are no prerequisites for this course; anyone who is inclined towards learning about Filmmaking can sign up for it. 

Each session is approximately 2 hours long. 

A smartphone with video recording capabilities and enough free memory is the only equipment you need to carry with you.

 Primarily? Because the course curriculum is constantly being developed and updated so that it is always relevant. It is also taught by some of the most talented filmmakers in our country today. 

No, there is no trial period. However, our executives are happy to answer any queries that you may have regarding the course. Also, to help you make an informed decision, the overview of the curriculum can be downloaded.

At MyNT, every student is given the opportunity to go beyond the classroom and gain experiential learning. After the completion of the capsule course, you will be provided with the opportunity to intern at a film studio/”, as well as a certificate of completion. 

Depending on what’s decided with the concerned institution or individual(s) before the beginning of the course, all sessions are planned and scheduled to suit the availability of those attending it.

This course spans across 5 - 8 sessions which need to be completed within the mutually agreed time frame.

No. The course structure does not allow us to take gaps. It adheres to a pre-determined schedule that the individual or institution has agreed to at the time of enrolment. 

No. The start and end date are fixed at the very beginning. All classes and assignments are to be completed as per deadlines, so as to provide equal opportunity to all the attendees. However, the timelines are decided with the concerned individual(s) or institutions so there is some flexibility.

No, you don’t lose access. If, due to any reason, a student of the course fails to complete it in said time then they’re still provided complete access to the curriculum.

No, you don’t lose access. After completing the course, you will be given access to the entire curriculum for revision. However, access will only be available for one month, post the completion of the course, after which you can check the revised course content
